A little accident

Kevin called me yesterday at work and told me he had just fallen and was heading to the ER with the business manager at the nursery. He thought he had possibly broken his ankle and was quite scraped and bruised. He assured me that I would not have to come there but...sometimes he forgets how stubborn I can be. I went and met him and he was x-rayed and sent home with an air splint, some pain meds, and told to stay off of it for a few days...it is just sprained! So...I got us some lunch and then decided to call work and let them know I was on my way back. When I called they said to stay home and take care of Kevin (it was slow at work) and so I did...oh boy was that a stretch! When AJ got home he of course took over the care...and a couple time caused Kevin to howl in pain...AJ would then run to the hallway and put his head on the wall and cry and cry. I had to explain that he did not do anything wrong...Daddy is just hurt. He is now scared to go anywhere near Daddy's feet! Me too...for different reason (stinky!!!) :-)
