Imagination that just won't end!

AJ has reached the point where he has a great imagination and Kevin and I are loving it. It usually shows it's self best first thing in the morning so I get to witness it on the way to daycare. He insists on wearing his bike helmet pretty much everywhere. He has been a "cop man guy", a bull rider, a good knight, and a soldier. He informs me what he is and then I am required to call him by that title until he decides to change it. It is a terrible time if I deviate from the name at all. The best imagination as far as coming up with something was yesterday morning. I noticed he was quiet on the way to Julie's but did not think much of it because I thought he might just be tired. When I got to Julie's and went to get him out of his car seat I realized quickly why he was quiet. He had his helmet on (of course) and had the strap across his nose..holding it on quite tightly. Here is how the conversation went:
Me: "What are you doing?"
AJ: "My nose is beeding"
Me: "How did that happen?"
AJ: "My nose is just beeding!!"
Me: "What did you do to your nose?"
AJ: "The bad guy shot me and my nose is beeding"
Me: "Oh...the bad guy did it huh? I did not see the bad guy"
AJ: "Yes...the bad guy hurt my nose and it is beeding"
Me: "Do you think you can go into Julie's now"
AJ: "Yes..."
Me: "OK...now you have to take your arms out of the strap"
AJ: "OK" Puts one arm through the strap and holds the helmet strap on his "bleeding nose"
We went into Julie's and Julie asked what happened and he said that his nose was bleeding. Julie looked horrified so I just shook my head no and then said, "How did you nose start bleeding?" AJ explained it to Julie and then I asked if we could take his helmet off and he said yes. He proceeded to wipe the "blood" off his nose and then take his helmet off. He then took an imaginary wipe out and wiped the blood off his helmet strap...then threw that wipe in the imaginary garbage. He then took off and played with his friends like nothing happened...maybe cuz nothing did happen! Kept a smile on my face all day!!!
