Thank you God for AJ!

The last 24 hours have just reminded me how blessed I am and how lucky I am to have AJ in my life. Yesterday morning I decided to dress up a little more for work than I normally do. I wore a skirt I had never worn before and some sandals (I got them for $5 at Payless..woohoo). I was feeling a little unsure about the outfit so I asked Kevin if I looked dorky or if it was a good outfit. He said he really liked it and thought I looked really great. AJ looked up at me and said "Mommy you are not dorky...you are beautiful!" I was fine all day just thinking that no matter what, AJ thought I was the most beautiful! Then last night (after working 10 hours) I came home exhausted but he was so excited to see me and tell me about his day. He told me they learned a new song yesterday so I asked him to sing it for me. He starts in..."If you're happy in your nose clap your hands..." I tried and tried to convince him that it was "and you know it" to no avail...he is sure it is "in your nose"! Still makes me smile! Then this morning I was enjoying some quiet in the house after returning from the gym...AJ got up on his own (very rare for my non-morning boy) and was so happy to see me up and he climbed up in my lap. I set everything aside and concentrated on him. He was talking about all the kids at preschool and he was informing me of their siblings. He said that everyone has brothers or sisters. He looked so sad so I asked if he was happy he did not have a brother or sister or if he wanted one. He said..."No...I REALLY want a brother". It broke my heart because this is one wish of his that I want more than anything to make come true. I told him I was sorry and that Mommy and Daddy wanted him to have a brother or sister but it would be awhile before that happened. He looked up at me and said "I don't want a baby from your belly....I want one that is my size!" I cannot tell you how happy that made me since in all reality he might just get that wish. He said he can wait awhile for his brother! Good thing....
