a little excitement in your day is good right?

After AJ's gymnastics class in Corvallis we headed to Jamies Hamburgers (yummy!) for lunch with Grammy Fandrem. We pulled into the parking lot and AJ spotted a firetruck right away. He was very excited and then Kevin started to drive over towards it in a daze. I found out why right away...apparently you can turn in your fire gear but never really get over the draw to the fire! There was a bus on fire in the parking lot and Kevin wanted to get closer to see what was happening. I, it turns out, am not a big fan of getting close to fires. I was out voted and AJ and Kevin got to look at the fire up close. We had the camera with us because of gymnastics class so we snapped a few shots...this is my favorite. We even talked to the firemen after the fire was out to offer the pictures to them and AJ got a sticker that looks like a fireman's badge. He was really excited and could not even talk to them...he was starstruck!!!
